That’s some wordplay based off the late rapper DMX whose debut album Too Dark and Hell is not which debuted exactly this week on May 19th 1998.

The album would sell a massive quarter million copies on its first week of release , going four times platinum in under two years.

The albums primary genre is the East Coast hip-hop which heavily borrowed Funk & Disco music , which are all offshoots of Soul Music .
